Hello, Donnie, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you dropped by with your question. I love chatting about
dining around the Walt Disney World Resort.
Donnie, I have two suggestions for last-minute dining that have worked well for me recently. First, I'll encourage you to keep checking for advanced dining reservations, even a few hours before you'd like to dine. Guests can cancel
advance dining reservations without penalty up to 2 hours before their reservation time, and I have been able to snag a previously unavailable table.
Second, a number of restaurants all around Walt Disney World also offer the ability to add your party to a
walk-up list via the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. So, for example, if you're at
Magic Kingdom Park and want to eat at
Liberty Tree Tavern, you can search for this restaurant in the app and follow the prompts to add your name to the walk-up list. When the list at any given restaurant is full, you'll see on the app that the list is closed.
I hope this helps as you're thinking about where and when to eat at the Most Magical Place on Earth. If you have any questions, just come on back to your new pals here at planDisney!
Wishing you a delicious experience,
Lauren
