Hello, Diane,
Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel about your upcoming trip, which is this month! I know when I'm less than 30 days away from a trip, I am all smiles every single day!
For my family, we leave a housekeeping, or sometimes unofficially called Mousekeeping, a tip of $1 per person occupying a room each day (my family of 5 leaves a daily $5 tip). Since the housekeeping staff rotates, you may have more than one cast member working during your stay so we don't wait until the end of our stay.
If you'd like to read further thoughts about tipping at Walt Disney World, there is an insightful article
Tips on Tipping at Walt Disney World: Transportation, Restaurants, Hotels, and More at the independent website Touringplans.com. For me, it was very helpful to know who is traditionally given a tip and a suggested amount.
Wishing you a magical trip to
Walt Disney World! Please let us know if we can help with any further questions. -
