Are there any standard rooms in the 50's or 70's decades at the Pop Century resort?

Hiya, Alison! Thanks for POPping over to planDisney and sharing your question with us!

Your Walt Disney World summer adventure is just a couple of months away. How groovy! Pop Century is my favorite value resort since it's so close to the Disney Skyliner, and my kids love all the vibrant, oversized decor. They've also recently refreshed the rooms, lobby, and Petals Pool Bar. It's a great choice when you're looking for a budget-friendly hotel option that the whole family will enjoy.

I’m happy to report that there are standard rooms located in the 50s (buildings 1, 2, and 3) and 70s areas (buildings 6 and 10) of Pop Century. These buildings also have preferred rooms, which are closer to the hotel’s main lobby, dining, the Hippy Dippy Pool, and transportation. That means the standard rooms may be further from these amenities, but they are still closer than the 80s and 90s areas. The 60s section (buildings 4 and 5) is the only spot that does not have any standard rooms.

If you’d like to stay in a specific building, you can make a room request through the My Disney Experience mobile app. You can also call the Tickets and Hotel Reservations line to talk with a friendly Cast Member or make your request at check-in. Requests are subject to availability and not guaranteed, but it never hurts to ask.

Alison, I hope you have a totally radical time at Disney World and a far-out stay at Pop Century Resort. Come back to planDisney if you have any other outta sight questions. We’re happy to help make your vacation the bee’s knees. Catch you on the flip side!

    Magical travels!
