    Do the standard rooms At Animal Kingdom Lodge Jambo House have microwaves?

    I'm so glad you've found your way to planDisney and I really appreciate you stopping by with your question. Can you believe you're less than two weeks away from arriving at Walt Disney World Resort? After all that dreaming and planning, the wait is almost over!  As it just so happens, Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of my favorite Disney Resorts Collection hotels. As soon as you walk through the door, you instantly feel like you've been transported from Central Florida to the heart of the African savannah –– it's incredible! I can't wait for you and your family to experience the magic of this amazing Resort for yourself during your upcoming visit.

    The amenities you'll find in your room, like an in-room microwave, will depend on which part of the Resort you're staying in. If you're staying in the Disney Vacation Club accommodations at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House, you'll find a microwave in all of the Resort's Deluxe Studios, as well as the 1-Bedroom, 2-Bedroom, and 3-Bedroom Grand Villas.  However, if you're staying in one of the Standard View rooms at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, there won't be a microwave in your room. If you'd like to request one, I can tell that many Disney Resorts have them available for Guests on a first-come basis –– my recommendation is to stop by the Front Desk once you arrive at the Resort and see if they can accommodate you.

    While you're at Resort, I also recommend keeping a lookout for one of my favorite Walt Disney World snacks –– the world-famous Zebra Domes! While these can typically be found on the buffet at Boma - Flavors of Africa, you can often pop down to The Mara and find them, too.  For me, there's nothing better than bringing Zebra Domes back to the room, brewing a cup of coffee, and enjoying them out on the balcony while I hunt for animals –– be sure to give them a try during your visit!
