I have a standard room booked at the Carribean Beach Hotal for the first week in May. Where are the best room locations in the hotel.?

    Hi Karina,
The Caribbean Beach Resort is wonderful!

This resort is made up of made up of six 'islands' - Barbados, Martinique, Trinidad North, Trinidad South, Jamaica and Aruba.  If you would like to see a map of the resort, simply google 'Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort map' and you will find several links.  Each of these islands has its own pool, beach area and its own bus stop.  If you like, you can ask for a pool view at any one of these. Standard rooms are available in Barbados (buildings 11-16), Martinique (21-23), Jamaica (41-46) and Aruba (51-56).

Old Port Royal Centertown (OPRC) is the central building where you will find the gift shop, food court and the table service restaurant 'Shutter's at OPRC'.  This is also where you will find the arcade, the feature pirate pool called 'Fuentes del Morro' and Barefoot Bay (the boat yard and bike rental area).

My first choice would be  'Martinique' buildings 21, 22 and 23.  This is the island closest to OPRC (about a 5-10 minute walk).   If you have younger children, I would also say that Aruba building 51 or Jamaica building 45 are good because they are close the bridges that link one side of Barefoot Bay to OPRC.  There is a fun childrens play area on a real island halfway across Barefoot Bay.  There are also other playgrounds in Jamaica and Martinique.

Whatever your choice, I would make sure that your preference is noted on your reservation.  You may also want to re-confirm by calling 407-WDISNEY within ten days of your arrival.  While they cannot guarantee it, they will do their best to accommodate. Have a magical vacation Karina!
