    Hi Wendy,

I had an opportunity to stay at Coronado Springs this past December, and was so impressed that I recently booked another trip for this coming December!  The resort has an American Southwest theme, and is situated around a beautiful, large lake, Lago Dorado, that provides a fantastic backdrop for a morning stroll.  The grounds are stunning and well manicured, and the restaurants, Pepper Market (quick service) and Maya Grill (table service) are great.  Pepper Market is one of the largest quick service establishments at Disney, and has a huge variety of options, including tacos, Asian stir-fry, pizzas, sandwiches and salads.  Maya Grill offers American fare with Latin flavors.

The Mayan pyramid-themed Dig Site Pool is wonderful place to spend an afternoon.  It has a great slide, and one of the largest hot tubs at Disney.  Casitas 5 is the furthest of the Casitas from the main building, but closest to the Dig Site-themed pool.  The Cabanas building 8A is closest to the Dig Site Pool.

    Have a wonderful trip!
