With a standard park ticket, can you leave the park then return later in the day to the same park? We want to make sure to allow for toddler naps in the middle of the day.

    Hello Emily!

I can tell that you are getting excited as you plan your Walt Disney World vacation! You have an awesome idea to plan for toddler naps during the middle of the day! This is one of my best tips for families that have young children. The more that you can keep them on their normal schedule during your Walt Disney World vacation the less meltdowns you will experience.

Yes, with a standard or base Walt Disney World ticket you can leave the park and return to the same park later that day. There are only a few days during the year (typically the Christmas holiday and the days around it) where a park will reach capacity and will limit entry into that park.

Keep in mind that currently, you will need to make a theme park reservation for each day of your ticket. To reserve your first theme park of the day, you will have to do a couple of things:

    1. Make sure your Walt Disney World Tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience Account
    2. Check the Park availability for the first park you want to start in on that particular day
    3. Make a Theme Park Reservation for your first park of the day for each day of your tickets

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is magical for you and your family!
