Do the standard Mermaid rooms have refrigerators and microwaves?

    Welcome to planDisney Jacqueline!

I just returned from a stay at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. What a fun place! We really enjoyed lounging by the Big Blue Pool and late-night snacks at the Landscape of Flavors food court. You are in for a real treat at this resort!

The Little Mermaid Rooms are standard rooms and will have a mini-fridge but no microwave. You are welcome to use the microwaves in the food court. It is about a 10 minute walk from the lobby/food court area to the Little Mermaid buildings.

If you prefer, Family Suites are available at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. These rooms have a separate bedroom, 2 full bathrooms, sleep 6, and include a refrigerator and microwave. These rooms are a bit pricier, but you gain a lot. Family Suites are themed Cars, Finding Nemo, and Lion King.

Don't forget one of the best parts of staying at Disney's Art of Animation - access to the Disney Skyliner! You will board a gondola and fly over to Disney's Hollywood Studios or EPCOT with beautiful views. Along the way, you can check out Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and other fun resorts.

Wishing you a magical visit to Walt Disney World and a fun stay at Art of Animation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
