    is there a standard hight restriction for most kids rides at the parks as my son is five and i dont want a screaming match if he is going to be too small for most of them

    I understand where you're coming from Victoria!  It's probably best to prepare your son ahead of time for which attractions he will be able to visit and which he might have to wait until next time to see.  If you click here you will find a handy chart that lists the height requirements for various attractions throughout Walt Disney World.  Here's to hoping your little guy measures up!  Enjoy your trip.
