Are there stand up paddle boards for rent at Castaway?

    Ahoy, Marianka!

Thanks for cruising by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about my favorite place in all the world - Disney's private island, Castaway Cay. It's a gorgeous location with Disney magic sprinkled from end to end - my family treasures the time we get to spend on the island!

You'll be happy to know that, yes, there are stand up paddle boards for rent at Castaway Cay. The boards rent by the half hour, and are for ages 18 and up. At the present time, (but always subject to change), the cost to rent the boards is $17.00 per half hour. Simply stop by the Boat Beach to reserve a time slot for your splashtacular fun!

Water cycles, sea kayaks, paddleboats and sailboats are also available for rent for water sports enthusiasts. There are also lots of amazing Port Adventures on the island, including a backcountry fishing excursion and a ride on a banana boat. My friends and I tried the banana boat a few years back - it's so much fun. Moms Panel Tip: If you wear a ball cap on the banana boat, hang on to it - mine is now somewhere at the bottom of the ocean!

There are so many ways to enjoy your day at Castaway Cay. I hope you find the perfect activities for you and your sailing party, to make the most of your day in Disney's island paradise! - Diane W.
