Hey Christi-
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Are those sleigh bells or Tinker Bell’s wings chiming?
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is truly a sight. With winter festive decorations, an “iced” Cinderella Castle and “snow” falling on Main Street, U.S.A., this party is a holiday season must do.
The best spot for the Celebrate the Magic castle show and Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season fireworks spectacular is anywhere in front of Cinderella Castle, including Casey's Corner. The fireworks will surround you like snow falling in dazzling colors of blues, greens, reds and more.
The best places to view parades is along the elevated wooden walkway in Frontierland near the Country Bear Jamboree or just in front of the Hall of Presidents attraction in Liberty Square. Since these areas allow you to see the parade before most Guests further down the parade route, you will have more time for your favorite attractions. Main Street, U.S.A. is wonderful but very crowded. Be sure to be in place at least 30 minutes before the parade starts.
IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth is a marvelous mix of music and fireworks and the perfect end to any day at Epcot. We love watching fireworks from The World Showcase specifically in one of these areas: main entrance of the World Showcase directly across from the American Adventures Pavilion, the bridge between the United Kingdom and France Pavilions, along the World Showcase Lagoon from the Mexico to Norway Pavilions and finally the Italy Pavilion. Prime viewing is best if you arrive 30-40 minutes before the show.
Disney Dad Tip: On a windy night stand upwind from the Epcot fireworks to prevent any smoke from blowing in your direction.
Christi, enjoy making many Magical Memories.
