Hiya Nicola and welcome to planDisney!
One of the greatest ways to create a little extra pixie dust for yourself is to add character dining to your experience at the Walt Disney World Resort. When Mickey and his friends bring the artist out of you at
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera or Minnie makes you feel like a star at
Hollywood & Vine you feel the magic in the air. And when our beloved gang from the Hundred-Acre Wood make their return to
The Crystal Palace on September 20th of this year, I'm sure there will be many happy tears for all involved.
Guests are able to
start booking their Advanced Dining Reservations as early as 60 days in advance. If y'all are choosing to stay at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel you'll be able to make those reservations for up to 10 days of your vacation. For example for my upcoming stay at
Disney's Beach Club Resort, I was able to book not only meals for the first day of my stay but the entire vacation.
The best way to try to be among the number of Guests who score one of those coveted character dining experience reservations is to be prepared! Character meals can sell out quickly no matter the time of year so you'll not want to be playing around. Reservations go live at 6 AM EST so I'm usually up on reservation day ready to roll at about 5:45 AM. I definitely recommend being logged in to your My Disney Experience account on your computer and going to your restaurant of choice and setting up your date and party. From there you'll be ready to roll the second those reservations drop. I'll never stop being jealous that with the time difference your booking window begins at noon!
Nicola, I hope I've been able to help you today. If you have any other questions, please feel free to
come back for another chat! Happy planning!
