Hey, Joseph! Welcome to planDisney.
How exciting that you've secured an out-of-this-world dining reservation for
Space 220. I was blasted into outer space last May and enjoyed a delicious meal at this uniquely themed restaurant. As someone who can put away their fair share of food, I was pleasantly stuffed by the end of the meal. I particularly enjoyed the Blue Moon Cauliflower appetizer and the 8oz Filet Mignon. However, some of my
planDisney friends got the Slow Rotation Zero-G Short Rib and it looked and smelled divine. I don't think you can go wrong, Joseph.
I'm sorry to hear that a member of your party doesn't like elevators. Unfortunately, while they have stairs for emergency purposes, to access Space 220 all Guests will need to board the turbo lift to get to the Space Station. I know that's not the answer you wanted to hear, Joseph. You can always speak to a Cast Member when you check in and see if they can make any accommodations. However, it's not guaranteed, I'm afraid.
For what it's worth, the elevator experience is not like a normal elevator. It's more like a ride/simulator. It doesn't look like or feel like an elevator. Therefore, I wonder if the member of your party will actually be able to enjoy the experience.
Hopefully, you won't have to cancel, Joseph. It's such a fun restaurant. I'll be wishing upon a star that it turns out to be a fantastic meal and a magical day at
EPCOT.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney. See ya real soon.
Mike
