Which stage shows at Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios tend to have longer wait times and are worth obtaining a Fastpass for? Also, which shows are "must sees" for a 3 and 4yo? Still working on the touring plan. Thanks!

Hi Daina! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I just returned from a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort with my children. It was such a magical time but we did have to teach our children all about patience! I think it is a fantastic idea that you are planning ahead to make the best use out of your Fastpass+ return times. This service is invaluable to our family.

At Disney’s Animal Kingdom my children’s favorite show is Festival of the Lion King. They love how colorful the costumes are, how upbeat the songs and Cast Members are, and I hear them singing some of the songs long after we leave the show. I personally love Finding Nemo – The Musical but it has been my experience that my kids seem to sit better for Festival of the Lion King. Either of these shows I feel would be a great use of a FastPass+ because both shows are very popular!

At Disney’s Hollywood Studios in my opinion, the shows that would be best for you to use FastPass+ for are For the First Time In Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration and/or the Disney Junior – Live on Stage shows. Both of these shows are amazing for children like yours and I am betting they really will love them! One last show to keep in mind that I feel is worthy of a FastPass+ is Fantasmic! This show is extrememly popular and I often see people lining up sometimes hours in advance. If you are planning on seeing this show I would absolutely use a FastPass+ for this.

My last piece of advice is to just try to go with the flow. Sometimes we work so hard to plan our dream vacation that we forget to leave time to just stop and enjoy the magic! Come back soon with any other park planning questions! I hope you have a wonderful family vacation!
