I have a stabilizing gimbal for my phone. Is is called an SMove. It does have a telescoping arm that extends 7 inches. Does this put it in the category of a selfie stick?

    Hi Richard!

Thanks so much for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Admittedly, I had to look up information regarding the SMove. Well...it's awesome and I want one! That being said, your question is spot on. When I get one, I won't be using it at Walt Disney World Resort. The SMove (or other extendable smartphone stabilizers) aren't permitted. Based on Walt Disney World Resort Park Rules, prohibited items include: "selfie sticks, hand-held extension poles for cameras or mobile devices." The SMove clearly falls under this category. While it's not a good fit for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, I know you will find oodles of uses while at home. Washington is such a beautiful and picturesque state!

I love how thorough you are being with your planning! You are clearly doing all you can to create a vacation that is practically perfect in every way! Please let me know if you need any other information as you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

    Have a magical day!
