Hi! We will be a 2015 spring vacation. Wandering about the Carribbean Beach Resort. In the Martinquesection which is closer to food court and pool, building 26 or 25? Getting mixed reviews. Is there a detail map somewhere besides Disney resort map?

    Hi Donna,

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a fun and festive place to stay. I recently stayed there with my husband for a runDisney race and we had a wonderful stay there.

You are most likely seeing conflicting information because of how those buildings are situated with relation to Old Port Royale, the building that houses the food court and retail store. Parts of building 26 and 25 are closest to Old Port Royale based on their position within those buildings. Building 26 is technically the one adjacent to Old Port Royale. However, there could be rooms in it that are a further walk based on having to go around the building along the paths, while some of the rooms in building 25 are technically further but more of a direct route based on the pathways near those rooms. I think if you have requested either of those buildings as a possibility, you should still be able to walk to the food court in about 2-3 minutes (if not less). Keep in mind, too, that requests for buildings cannot be guaranteed and are based upon availability at check-in.

    Have a great trip!
