Welcome to planDisney, Jennifer!
Thanks for stopping by as you prepare to say
bonjour to Disneyland Paris. Home to unique dining experiences (
Walt's — an American restaurant is my favorite), a champagne cart on Main Street, U.S.A., and (in my opinion) the
fairest castle of them all — with a
dragon lurking underneath — I think you'll be so glad you chose to visit!
In my experience, saving on a Disney vacation always feels a lot like magic — especially when you use those savings to purchase your favorite snacks or reduce wait times with
Disney Premier Access. While Disneyland Paris is currently offering
reduced 2-Day/2-ParkTheme Park Tickets for active and retired United States military personnel, unfortunately, an active or retired service member must be present to qualify for this offer, so a military spouse identification card will not be accepted as proof of service to validate these tickets upon entry. Now, if your husband winds up visiting with you, be sure that he brings along his military ID so that you can take advantage of this offer!
I'm sure this isn't what you were hoping to hear, Jennifer, so I did want to share another way to save on your upcoming visit. When booked as a part of a
Hotel+Tickets Package, Disneyland Paris theme park tickets are offered at a significantly reduced rate.
A stay at a Disney Hotel will also give you early access to and walkability to the Disneyland Paris theme parks (in most instances), so it's definitely worth pricing out!
One final tip from a fellow American Mouseketeer: don't skip the nighttime spectacular, Disney Tales of Magic! A combination of lights, projections, fireworks, and drones, it's unlike anything you'll see back in Florida. I also recommend
purchasing reserved viewing access at least once during your visit for peace of mind and an incredible view directly in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.
I hope this clears things up and that your Disneyland Paris vacation is filled with magical moments. If you'd like any additional advice as you plan, don't hesitate to stop back by. You've got a friend in
planDisney!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
