My spouse and I are traveling with our 2 kids, ages 14 and 5. I am vegan and my 5yo eats only a handful of things. We are considering the ALD and a character breakfast. Would you suggest the dining plan? Eating full courses at each meal seems unlikely...

    Hi Stephanie,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I generally think that the dining plan is a great option for families who will eat full quick service meals and at least one table service meal per day. If you think that you won't take advantage of all of the food that comes with the meal plan, it may make more sense to buy food a la carte.

I definitely recommend that you make table service reservations well in advance, especially for character dining. You can do that 180 days in advance.

    Have a great vacation!
