My spouse and I recently moved to California and we’d like to purchase the socal tickets, but they have not received a California ID yet, due to work but we have our utility bills in our names with our new California address.. will that be sufficient?

Hi there, Katie! Welcome to planDisney and I'm so glad you've asked this great question.

Isn't the 2023 Southern California Resident Offer such an awesome deal!? This special offer is for eligible Southern California residents living within ZIP codes 90000- 93599 and Northern Baja California residents within ZIP codes 21000-22999 and is valid on weekdays, only through May 25, 2023. The terms and conditions of this purchase do require valid government-issued identification for both the purchase and use of the tickets for admission. So, it is likely that proof of eligible residency would be requested when you scan your tickets at the park entrance.

It may be possible to get a temporary ID from your local Department of Motor Vehicles while you await your new ID. Although I realize this might not be the news you were hoping for, I do hope this is a tenable solution for you!

Katie, I hope your springtime trip to Disneyland Resort is truly magical. It is one of my favorite times of year to visit with near-perfect weather, blooming trees and flowers, and the Disney100 Celebration that will continue all year long! Don't miss the 'Magic Happens' parade, especially in the later afternoon when the lighting design on the all-new float designs is more visible. I hope you and your loved ones enjoy it as much as mine! If we can help with any other pieces of advice, please come back and let us know!

    Wishing you Wondrous Journeys,
    Tishra
