Hi there, Kate!
Welcome to planDisney! I'm glad that you're looking into the resources available to help your family enjoy the parks to the fullest.
The
Disability Access Service (DAS) is designed to help guests who are unable to use traditional queues due to their disability. I highly recommend signing up for
DAS Advance so that you're ready to go when you hit the parks! You should be just fine to use your Disney account, as long as you have a few things ready to go for your online video call. You'll need to have park tickets and park reservations linked to your account for every member of your party, and your husband (as the guest who needs DAS) will need to be on the video chat. When you're within 30 days of your visit (but at least 2 days before) you can
request a video chat between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM Pacific Time.
Part of your video chat may include selecting some attractions to enjoy when you visit the parks! It might be helpful to
take a look at some of the experiences that might be options, so you know what you'd like to choose. You'll be able to make additional selections once you enter the parks by using the Disneyland Mobile App! There might also be some helpful information for you on the
Services for Guests with Disabilities Page, the guides for various disabilities are really detailed and can help your group navigate the parks as easily as possible.
Kate, I hope you and your spouse feel all the magic of the
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort during your visit! If you have any other planning questions I hope you'll
send me a note, I would be happy to help you keep planning for your trip. Enjoy a Mickey Gingerbread Cookie for me, please!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
