My spouse and I have annual passes that have not been activated yet. He became ill and has just recently died. Is the cost of his pass refundable and if so what do you need from? Thank you Donna

    Welcome to planDisney, Donna

I am so sorry to read about the loss of your True Love. My spouse and I have cherished many special moments and milestones at the Disneyland Resort, and I’m sure it holds precious memories for you and your spouse too. Just like Carl & Ellie from Up, it sounds like you two loved having Disneyland be a part of your adventures together, and I hope you'll find solace and joy in returning to these beloved places as a Magic Keyholder.

Donna, while Magic Keys are non-refundable, if they haven't been activated, you may be able to change the name on the passes. They’re valid for one year, so you could transfer them to someone else. The cast members at the Magic Key Help Center can give you more information. You can reach them by calling one of the numbers listed here.

I hope you get to enjoy a magical trip to The Happiest Place On Earth soon, Donna! Always enjoy it to the fullest, the way he would've wanted you to. Whether you're with family or friends, there are wonderful adventures and moments to enjoy. I’m here to help with any future plans, so feel free to send me another question directly.

    Sending you warm hugs,
    Danielle
