The sports/ waterpark tickets mention a bonus admission into water parks. So let’s say I purchase a 3 day ticket. If I visit a water park in my ticket date range, does it count towards one of my 3 theme park admissions, or can I use them on different days?

Well hello there! Welcome to planDisney.

If you purchase a 3-day theme park ticket with the Water Parks and Sports Option, you will be able to enter any of the theme parks on 3 separate days during your ticket date range and receive 3 separate admissions to other Walt Disney World Resort fun during the same window (including whichever water park is open). So to answer your question, going to a water park during your ticket window would not count toward your theme park usage.

To give you an example, if I were to go onto the Walt Disney World Resort website right now and purchase a 3-day ticket with the Water Park and Sports Option that starts on September 22, 2024, I'd be able to go to a theme park on 3 separate days from September 22nd through September 26th (which is a 5-day date range). I would also be able to go to whichever water park is open 3 times during that same date range. I could also experience miniature golf, one of the golf courses, or the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex (each would count toward 1 of my 3 other Walt Disney World Resort fun redemptions, not my theme park redemptions). It really provides a lot of flexibility and a range of options during your trip!

I hope that you enjoy all of the offerings available to you at the Walt Disney World Resort on your next trip. Feel free to reach out to me with any other questions.

The difference between winning and losing is most often not quitting,
