Hi Oliver,
Welcome to planDisney! We are really happy you stopped by with your question today. I love helping fellow Guests plan the perfect holiday at Walt Disney World, and it is extra special when they are fellow Brits! It looks like you will be checking in to
Walt Disney World TODAY! I hope you have a safe flight, you will be
walking right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A. in no time at all!
We are really lucky as UK residents to have access to the
14-day Magic Ticket, which offers so much more than access to the Disney Theme Parks. Firstly, they are park hopper tickets, so you can visit multiple parks in a day, and as they are dated, there is no need to make park reservations. You will also get access to the Disney Water Parks, Disney's Blizzard Beach will be open for the majority of your trip, but if you are still there on the 1st May, consider checking out
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, my family love it there, in fact we spent the day there following our wedding ceremony at Disney Springs last year!
The sports referred to as part of the Magic Ticket are one round of mini golf per day at Disney's Winter Summerland or Disney's Fantasia Gardens which is accessible prior to 4pm. Also, you can enjoy the
Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course, but you would need to book a tee time. And, you can access the ultimate sports experience at
ESPN Wide World of Sports, but this does exclude separately ticketed events.
While at Walt Disney World, be sure to check out all of the seasonal offerings at the
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival! There is so much to enjoy from the Disney topiaries to the fresh food booths! My family visited during this festival two years ago, and my son still talks about the butterfly house - Butterfly Landing!
I hope you have a wonderful holiday at Walt Disney World, Oliver. If you have further questions whilst you are there, please
reach out to me, and I will get an answer to you as quickly as I can!
Have a magical day,
Matt
