I’ve spoken to 3 people calling Disney and haven’t gotten a for sure answer. What exactly is required for proof of residency for Socal discount? Are there other options of our current address is not listed on our ID? What about for our children without IDs

    Hey Chelsea!

    Welcome to planDisney!

Disney’s SoCal Resident Ticket is back for a limited time and it is one of the best deals around for tickets to the Happiest Place on Earth. This special week day ticket provides three days of fun to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. You’ll need to make theme park reservations and decide which parks you want to visit for three days. My recommendation would be to do one day at Disney California Adventure Park and two days at Disneyland Park.

I’m sorry to hear that you haven’t been able to get the correct information for proof of residency. Upon first entry, all guests that are 18 years of age or older will need to provide a valid government issued ID or Drivers License for proof of residency. This is the only acceptable proof of residency. Guests under 18 years of age do not need to provide any proof of residency. If your current address is not listed on your current ID or Driver's License, I would suggest you head down to the DMV to get it updated. The temporary paperwork that you receive will work if your physical card doesn’t come in time.

Well Chelsea, if you have any more questions for us we’d love to hear them. We’re here to help!
