I spoke to a cast member and was told photo pass was $169 if we purchase it in advance, but when I go to My Disney Experience it is $199. And now I can’t get anyone on the phone could you help?

Hello Stacey, and welcome back to planDisney!

I am so excited for you because your magical vacation is just 1 month away! You have picked the perfect time for a visit with Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration in full swing and the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival in full bloom. Everywhere you turn will be an opportunity to make some wonderful core memories.

I am so sorry to hear that you are having trouble purchasing Memory Maker Advance in the My Disney Experience app. It sounds like Stitch is up to his old tricks again. Hakuna Matata, I will be happy to help you complete your purchase. The easiest way to add Memory Maker with the advance purchase option is online. Sign in to My Disney Experience and click the Buy Memory Maker tab. Select the Advance Purchase option and finalize your transaction.

Your Memory Maker should automagically be linked to your My Disney Experience account. You can confirm this online by navigating to your My Plans tab and scrolling down to the My Plans, Reservations, and Tickets section. Click on the Tickets and Memory Maker tab and you should see it listed under Memory Maker Purchases. If it does not appear you can manually link it to your account. Click on the blue “+Add More Plans” button and select Link Reservations and Purchases from the drop-down menu. Select Memory Maker and enter your Memory Maker ID number and follow the prompts to assign the owner and confirm.

Memory Maker is good for 30 days from the date of activation, giving you the ability to capture all your precious memories, even for an extended vacation. You will activate the Memory Maker using the My Disney Experience mobile app after a Disney PhotoPass Photographer captures your first photo. Simply go to your photos and select one by tapping it. You will receive a notification asking if you want to activate your Memory Maker, select Activate and you will be able to download your photos without a watermark.

Your amazing memories will be available for 45 days from the date they are taken. Remember to download them all before they expire. You have unlimited downloads with an active Memory Maker allowing you to share and post your memories as much as you want. You can also preserve your precious memories on an Archive USB or DVD available for purchase. Have the most magical time!

    Say Cheese,
    Andrea
