Hi Moms. We will be splurging and staying cat.1 on the Wonder, Bahamas in October, Any Stats on what weather would be like? Also I think they provide robes in the room, will I be able to request a plus size and child size? Thank you

    Stacy,
Congratulations on your upcoming splurge in a suite aboard the Disney Wonder!

October is a very pleasant time of year to cruise the Bahamas with the exception of any hurricane activity. In the event of tropical storms, the Captain will steer the ship toward calmer waters. Many frequent cruisers have told me that October is their favorite month to cruise.

Typical temperatures in the Bahamas are average high of 85 and low of 74. It can be humid. Rainfall averages about 8 inches for the month but this is mostly in the form of "pop-up" showers with calm winds. Some days, however, can be very rainy so just be prepared.

Robes are provided in the suite accommodations. You may request child-size robes through Concierge or Housekeeping. Most robes offered are "one size fits all", however I would recommend putting in a request for a larger size robe if you think you'd be more comfortable with one. Oh, slippers are provided as well!
