Splitting our 10 night stay btw BC and BLT. The morning of our switch we've ADR for Akershus. Thinking about only getting the Meal plan for our last 4 nights. Can we use the meal plan for Akershus if we have not checked into BLT for our last 4 nights?

    Chris:

What makes the split of your stay budget-friendly (being able to just get the dining plan on one of your resort stays), unfortunately makes it a bit inflexible with your plans.

Your dining plan credits are accessed through your Key to the World card that you receive upon check-in.  So, unfortunately, you wouldn't be able to use the credits on your dining plan that morning if you haven't checked in to your new resort, Bay Lake Towers.

Keep in mind that you can check in as early as 8 a.m. on your scheduled arrival date, so you could make it happen, but it does seem inconvenient when your breakfast reservations are near Beach Club in Epcot.  You may want to reconsider your dining schedule.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
