    We want to split our trip to 2 resorts, WL and AKL for 11/28-12/4.. We'd like to work it so we are at WL on a date when we can attend the VM Xmas Party and at AKL on a date to do Wanyama Safari, but neither event has dates posted yet. What should we do??

    Hi Tatiana,

    You've chosen 2 beautiful Resorts for your Disney World vacation!

    While dates for the 2011 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party have not yet been released yet, historically they do have a Party on the Monday following Thanksgiving weekend. In fact, I'm counting on this myself, since I plan to be down there at the same time with my family.

    The Wanyama Safari Resort Tour Dinner is, "offered in the afternoon on select Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, subject to availability and weather". Based on that, I think I would choose to end my vacation at the Animal Kingdom Lodge in hopes that the Safari will be offered on Friday or Saturday of that week.
