Split stay.do u have to check out of 1 wdw resort & travel to 2nd wdw resort to activate the 2nd reservation which include park tickets? Can u activate the 2nd reservation tickets at 1st resort go to parks/ dining before checking into the 2nd resort?

Greetings Michelle!  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I recently returned from a split stay at Walt Disney World and had a wonderful time.  When you check in to the first resort, let the Cast Member know you will be doing a split stay and they can check to see that everything is correct on your MagicBand.  After dropping our luggage off at Bell Services to be delivered to the second resort, we were able to head out and enjoy a full fun day at the parks.  Then we headed to the second resort to check in and get our room assignments.  Our luggage had already been delivered to the resort and was brought to our room shortly after we arrived.  It was a very easy process and we experienced no hiccups along the way.  You should absolutely be able to continue with your day as well.

I hope this helps.  If you have any other questions about your vacation, please come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
