I’m happy to report that…yes! You will have access to the pool at the
Grand Floridian on your check-in day!
We do split stays often, and we also like to have a pool day when we’re switching resorts. It’s so nice to take our time in the morning before heading off to our next resort, then just relax once we make it there. Once we’re at our next resort, I like to stop by the front desk to check in before hitting the pool. That way, I can ask any questions I have, get a lay of the land, and get everything set up so that I’ll receive a text once my room is ready.
If you’re planning to take advantage of
Bell Services transferring your luggage, make sure to pack a bag to keep with you that has all of your pool day items and a change of clothes if needed. When Bell Services transfers your luggage, there’s a chance you won’t receive your luggage at your next resort until later in the day, so you’ll want to make sure you have everything you need.
It’s also good to note that, as a
Disney World resort guest this summer, you’ll get free water park tickets on check-in day. So, you can always consider going to the water park on the day you switch resorts, too.
Both water parks are currently operating, so you’ll be able to choose between visiting Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach.
