If I did a split stay, say with 5 days at one resort with a dining plan, and 2 days at another resort without a dining plan, when would my dining plan expire? Would it expire at the end of the first five days, or at the end of the entire stay?

Greetings and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Shona, we thank you for this excellent question.

Splitting your stay between two Disney Resort hotels is a great way to experience the different theming in one vacation and enjoy all unique benefits and magical experiences too!

If you add and purchase a Disney Dining Plan to your Magic Your Way Vacation Package, or Existing Reservation, any unused dining credits and snacks will expire at midnight of that package reservation checkout date. Therefore, if you include a Disney Dining Plan with your 5 night Disney Resort hotel stay, then all unused dining credits and snacks will expire at midnight of that 5 night package reservation checkout date.

Shona, if you wish to continue with a Disney Dining Plan for your second Disney Resort hotel stay for 2 more days, then you would have to purchase a Disney Dining Plan for that specific Existing Reservation.

To purchase and add a Disney Dining Plan to your Magic Your Way Vacation Package, or to modify your Existing Reservation to include a Disney Dining Plan, please contact a Cast Member at (407) 939-5277.

    Mom's Tips:
    1) Don’t forget to customize your plans with My Disney Experience to optimize your visit.
    2) Bell Services can assist with the transfer of your luggage to your second Disney Resort hotel if you wish.

We hope this information is helpful, Shona and wish you many delicious Disney dishes!
