Hi there Jennifer!
Welcome back to planDisney and thank you so much for submitting your question today! I absolutely love staying at multiple resorts during my stay as it allows you to experience different theming and amenities. I sometimes like to visit resorts almost just as much as the theme parks themselves, so I am thrilled to be helping you today. There is nothing quite like getting Mickey Beignets for breakfast and Zebra Domes for a late-night snack!
As for your car, I would personally recommend checking into your second resort in the morning and, therefore, leaving your car parked at the second resort. The reason why I suggest this is first because you can check into your new resort using the
My Disney Experience mobile app and get all the information about your new room right on your mobile device. That way, you can enjoy the parks knowing your room is getting ready for you and skip the check-in process once you do get back to your resort. Second, I always try to do as much as I can on my park days and usually feel exhausted when I get back to my room. If you are the same way, not having to move your car at the end of a long park day would be much more convenient. Trust me, future you will thank you later! It is also worth noting that you can drop off your luggage at your resort's Bell Services the morning you are checking out and they will be able to transfer it to your second resort for you. Once you are back and in your new room, Bell Services also offers to bring your luggage up to your room so you can truly relax after a long park day!
I hope this was helpful, Jennifer, and that you make memories that will last a lifetime on your upcoming Disney vacation! If you have any more questions in the time leading up to your visit, please feel free to reach out. You've got a friend in us! I hope you have a magical day and send you all the pixie dust for your upcoming trip,
Ariane
