From one Kurt to another, welcome to planDisney!
Split stays are always my favorite thing to do! I love the adventure of starting the day at one amazing Disney resort and ending the day at a totally new and exciting one! My wife is the opposite. She enjoys unpacking and settling into one place where she can call it home for the duration of the trip. So, we mix it up!
Kurt, you didn’t mention that you are staying at two
Disney Resort Collection hotels, but I will answer this question based on that fact.
Bell Services will transfer your bags from your first resort to your second, but you must do a few things to get that ball rolling. When you wake up from your final night at your first location, you will call Bell Services and let them know which resort you are heading to for the remainder of your vacation and how many bags need to be transferred. You will need to wait with your bags in your room and be there when they are picked up. You can also take them on your own to Bell Services at your resort, and they will take care of them for you there.
When you arrive at your second resort after a magical day in the parks, just call down to Bell Services and they will deliver your bags to your room, or you can stop by and pick them up on your way to your new and exciting adventure in your second Disney home of your trip!
Make sure you take a day bag with you to the parks that have all your essentials and any medications you might need for the day.
I see that you are going to be heading to the magic in early March. I hope you can enjoy the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival that starts on March 4, 2026! So many spectacular gardens and Disney character topiaries along with the great food of course! Plus, rock to the beat of the
Garden Rocks Concert Series! I spun my way over to watch the Spinners last year, and they were awesome!
Kurt, I hope you have a great split stay and enjoy a Mickey Bar or two!
