I have a split stay at the same resort, same room type. If we can’t merge these reservations, how does the check in and check out work for the same resort?

    Hey Jade!

I recently had the same situation with a split stay at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, so I completely understand your concern! Here’s what I suggest:

The first thing you’ll want to do is visit the front desk of your resort and let the Cast Member know that you have a split stay with the same room type. In my experience, they often try their best to keep you in the same room for the entirety of your stay. Since you’ve booked the same room type, this increases the chances they can make it happen for you.

If for some reason you do need to switch rooms, the process is still pretty smooth. You’ll need to check out of your first room by 11:00 AM, but don’t worry, you can store your luggage at Bell Services while you enjoy your day. Just pack up your belongings, and you can even use the "Hey Disney" service to ask for help with your luggage if needed.

For your next room, check-in time is typically 3:00 PM for most Disney Resort hotels, and 4:00 PM if you’re staying at Disney Deluxe Villas. Once your new room is ready, you can request luggage assistance again, and Bell Services will bring your bags to the new room.

I also highly recommend using Online Check-In. It’s convenient, and you’ll still get all the same perks, like Early Theme Park Entry on every day of your stay, even while switching rooms. But my top tip is to speak to the front desk directly, they’re usually very helpful in trying to simplify things for you.

    Wishing you the best stay!
