Welcome back to planDisney, Brenda!
Thank you for stopping by once again with a great question. It is a pleasure to continue to assist you as you plan a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Although I am a big fan of split stays, booking more than one Disney Resort hotel during the same stay means that each reservation will have its own dining reservation window. Disney Resort hotel Guests can make reservations up to 60 days in advance plus the length of their stay (up to 10 days), so since you have a 1-night stay booked at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, you will only be able to make reservations 60 days in advance for one day. However, once you hit the 60-day mark for your Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort booking, you will be able to make reservations for the length of your stay.
Do not give up if you are unable to book a particular restaurant! I know that it can be frustrating, but I recommend trying as you get closer to your travel dates. Sometimes other Guests end up having to cancel reservations, and then you may find availability. You are also welcome to use the My Disney Experience mobile app to
add your party to the walk-up list at select table-service restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort during your visit.
I hope this information is helpful, Brenda. Come back to visit us if you have additional questions, we are delighted to help!
Best Disney wishes,
Thiana
