If we have a split stay planned, will we have 2 separate checkouts or can we just put everything charged to our magic bands on the last reservation?

    Hi Dominic!

Thanks for coming by to see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so excited to hear that you are planning a "split stay" at Walt Disney World Resort, where you will get to enjoy two different Disney Resort hotels during your vacation. It's so much fun to experience the unique theming and decor of two different "homes" during your trip. Plus, it's nice to mix up the dining options of your home resort so you can try lots of different things!

When you enjoy a split stay, each portion of your trip will be separate reservations. So you will have two separate checkins and two separate checkouts, one for each of your reservations. Unfortunately, there is no way to combine those reservations or those checkouts, which means you will have to settle your reservation account charges at the end of each of your reservations as there is no way to transfer your account charges from one reservation to the other. Keep in mind that you can take advantage of Express Resort Checkout, which will eliminate the need for you to stop at the Front Desk when you checkout.

Be sure to take advantage of Bell Services when you transfer between Disney Resort hotels! They will pick your bags up from your room of your first hotel and transfer them to your new room at your second hotel so you are free to spend your transfer day enjoying Walt Disney World Resort!

Let us know if you have other questions we can help you with as you continue planning. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
