Hello Rachelle and welcome back to planDisney!
It’s a pleasure to chat with a longtime friend of planDisney! Thank you for relying on my family of friends to answer your Disney planning questions!
Rachelle, one of the great benefits of a split stay at two Disney Resorts Collection hotels is having your luggage transferred to your second resort on your moving day! When you leave
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort-Riverside on your check-out day, take your luggage down to
bell services and they will make sure it is transferred to your new home at
Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort! It is always best to leave your luggage as early as possible in the morning. The Cast Members will do their best to get your luggage transferred to their final destination!
I suggest taking a picture of your luggage tag just in case you misplace the original. This precaution is recommended based on my own true story of a lost luggage tag!
While you are enjoying your day at a theme park or shopping, your luggage will be safely transported to All Star Sports and will arrive sometime in the afternoon to early evening. Although there is not a designated time of arrival for your luggage, the friendly Cast Members do their best to get it to your new resort in a timely manner. We have always had great success with our luggage being available to us at our split stay home by check-in time or just a little bit after. I would recommend that when you leave your resort in the morning, you pack a small bag or backpack with any essential items that you will need for the day and take it with you. When you arrive at All-Star Sports at check-in time, either head down to bell services to pick up your luggage or go to your room and give them a call, and they will deliver your luggage to your new Disney home!
Rachelle, you have scored a touchdown with your choice of All-Star Sports as your second home base for your trip! My planDisney friends
Elizabeth and
Jenn recently had the opportunity to tour the resort, and
this video will get you fired up for your upcoming adventure!
Have a great time and don’t forget to enjoy a Mickey Bar or two!
