If I have a split stay in October, do I have to transfer my luggage or does DVC do that for you?

    Hey Howdy Hey, Suzanne!

You are as welcome as can be here at planDisney!  How exciting that you are getting to be a part of two worlds during your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World Resorts.  The unique thematic hotels truly immerse you in an experience, so getting to experience two on your vacation really adds a whole new world to your vacation.

Suzanne, when you do your split stay, Bell Services can help you transfer your luggage from one Resort to the other.  When you check out of your first Resort, stop by Bell Services and let them know you are moving to a new Resort and which one, and they can help get the luggage to that new Resort for you. Then, you can go about enjoying the magic of your day. Once your new Resort is ready for you, stop by the Bell Services desk at that Resort to ensure your luggage has arrived or is on its way.  And just like magic, they'll appear in your room.

One thing to note, Suzanne, is if you are transferring any food from one Resort to the other, typically only non-perishable items can be transferred.  We like to package those items up in one of our bags or a closed grocery bag and we check it with the luggage. Many of the Resorts don't have space to store refrigerated items, and in Flordia's heat, it can spoil quickly.  But, Hakuna Matata (it means "no worries.")  Disney Vacation Club Resorts all have a shop onsite with bare necessities so you can replenish any of those refrigerated items you need.

I hope this helps you, Suzanne! If you have any additional Disney Vacation Club questions, stop back and see me here.  Remember, you've got a friend in me!

    Have fun making magical memories!
