Split stay 1st 2 nights AK Lodge then AOA for 6 more. When my 60 day window opens up will I be able to book for all 9 days or only the 1st 3?

Hey Howdy Hey Jana and welcome back to planDisney!

It is so exciting to hear that your next trip to Walt Disney World Resort is just around the corner! There will be so much happening during your stay with the extra festivities for Halloween and fall celebrations, you are going to have so much to experience! Thank you so much for your question involving dining reservations and split stays. Let's go over the rules and get you ready for the big day.

Considering you will be staying at 2 separate resorts with 2 different reservations, Disney views this as technically 2 separate trips. This means you will have 2 60-day dates for each reservation. Your first 60-day mark will cover the first few days and then the second will cover your second reservation.

Did you know that if you take your luggage to Bell Services on your check-out day from Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, you can have them Magically transported to Disney's Art of Animation Resort? No need to lug everything yourself and keep the Magic rolling with little interruptions!

As you continue to prepare for the big 60-day mark, I've got one big recommendation for you. If you have not had the chance yet to dine at Sanna in Animal Kingdom Lodge, you might want to give this a look. This restaurant is such an amazing experience from the location and decor itself with so many unique eats, it is one you won't want to miss! Make sure to try the bread services, you won't regret it! Oh, and as you are checking in, see if you can request a table next to the savannah for an extra unique experience.

I hope you are having a Magical time planning your upcoming trip and exploring all the different dining and entertainment options you will have in store. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out, we love talking all things Disney!

    Happy Planning,
