If we do a split stay at multiple resorts, is there a process to get our luggage moved from one hotel to the other?

    Hiya Sheena,

Welcome to planDisney! Can you believe that we are already in March?! Before you know it, you will be at Walt Disney World Resort enjoying a Mickey Pretzel. I try to have as many split stays as possible with so many incredible resort hotels at Disney World.

In my opinion, the one thing that makes split stays easier is the luggage transfer service! In order to do a luggage transfer, you should first inquire with a Cast Member at Bell Services the night before checking out what time your luggage needs to be dropped off at Bell Services the following day. If you miss the time, they will not be able to transfer your luggage. One thing to know is that luggage transfer takes a little extra time, so keep a small bag with anything you will need for the day.

Before I let you go, Sheena, I know you said you were considering a split stay, so I did want to share a fun perk of split stays this year. When you have a split stay, you get to take advantage of the free day at the water park twice! Blizzard Beach is celebrating 30 years in April, so it is a fantastic time to visit more than once. Please come back and see us if you need anything else.

    Happy Planning,

Hey Y'all! I’m Ashley and I live in Texas. My family and I love trying out the yummy snacks (DOLE Whip anyone!) and taking full advantage of our resort days. When we are not piloting the Millennium Falcon, exploring Kilimanjaro Safaris, or watching fireworks, you can find me planning our next adventure to Walt Disney World! I am so excited that you are planning a trip, and I look forward to helping you dig a little deeper and find the magic in all of the wonders of Walt Disney World Resort. Learn More About Ashley
