Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Maria. We're so glad you stopped by! It looks like your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just a few months away. That's super exciting!
My family and I just love a split-stay. When we stay at two (or more!) Disney Resort hotels in a single vacation, we get to enjoy the
unique theming and amenities of the Disney Resorts Collection! I think you're asking about your hotel reservations in relation to your dining reservations. In my experience with split-stays, our eligibility to
make dining reservations 60-days ahead of time has been based on our check-in dates and not the number of days on our Theme Park Tickets. So, that's to say, I have been able to make our dining reservations 60-days ahead of our check-in date for the length of our stay at that
first hotel and then I was able to make our dining reservations for the rest of our vacation when we got to that 60-day mark for our
second check-in date. There was one time though, that I was able to make dining reservations for our entire vacation from the 60-day mark of our first check-in date, but I suspect that was just a magical glitch in the system because it only happened once!
When you reach that 60-day window,
you can begin making your dining reservations as early as 6:00 AM. I recommend waking up bright and early, pouring a cup of coffee (in a Disney mug, of course!) and getting your laptop fired up by 5:45 AM. The earlier you book your reservations, the better availability you'll find, especially for those hard-to-book restaurants like Cinderella's Royal Table and Chef Mickey's!
I hope this was helpful, Maria. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! We'd love to help you plan a magical stay.
