For a split stay, will Disney transfer luggage from POP to the Dolphin?

Hiya, Lesa! Welcome to planDisney! We’re so glad you are here!

I’m glad to be able to help you today! It looks like you will be doing a split stay during your vacation; how exciting! Split stays are a wonderful way to enjoy two vacations in one, as each resort provides its own unique experience. So, it's such a blast to immerse yourself in a completely different experience, each with that famous magic and level of service you come to expect at Walt Disney World. I haven’t yet had the opportunity to stay at Disney's Pop Century Resort, but it’s definitely on my resort bucket list! But, I can tell you from experience that Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel is such an incredible place to stay. I just visited in January and thoroughly enjoyed my stay, so I’m sure you will love it as much as I did!

Now, on to your question, Lesa! Unfortunately, since Walt Disney World Dolphin is not a part of the Disney Resorts Collection, Bell Services will not be able to transfer your luggage there from Disney’s Pop Century Resort. I know this is a bit of a bummer, but I have an alternative that I have done in the past, which is actually pretty easy! On the day you check out of Disney's Pop Century Resort, I recommend heading down to the main entrance of your hotel and using a ride share service, like Lyft, to bring your luggage over to the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel. The ride is only about 8 minutes long, and it usually takes only a few minutes for your driver to arrive, so this is the fastest and easiest way to move your belongings over to your second resort. Of course, there is a cost associated with using a ride share service, but in my experience, the price isn’t too bad and is well worth the convenience!

How exciting to be staying just a short walk from EPCOT, Lesa! If you do get the chance to head over there, be sure to check out one of my new favorite attractions, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, where you'll scurry alongside Chef Remy through the hustle and bustle of Gusteau's restaurant kitchen. It's tremendous fun, so I definitely recommend checking in out!

It would be my absolute pleasure to answer any other questions you may have ahead of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, so I hope to see again you real soon!

    Until next time,
    Diana
