Hi Hector,
Welcome back to planDisney! I love the fact that you’re thinking about dining ahead of your next Walt Disney World visit. The
Disney Dining Plans allow guests staying at
Disney Resorts Collection hotels to prepay for their meals. What I love most about these plans is the convenience; since meals are already paid for, that portion of your budget is set and you don’t need to worry about overspending. My family and I used the quick service plan during our last visit. I really loved the fact that whenever my teenager was hungry (which seems like it’s hourly these days), he was able to just use his
MagicBand+ to pay for food and snacks on his own. We also loved using the Resort-Refillable Mug at our resort hotel’s quick service location whenever we were in the mood for a cold beverage.
Dining credits can be used throughout your stay during the reservation that they are tied to. They will expire at midnight on your check-out day. Since your Dining Plan is connected to your first hotel stay, you will only be able to continue using your dining credits until midnight on the day that you check into your second resort hotel, assuming there is no gap between stays.
With so many great table service restaurants to choose from, there’s no shortage of places to utilize your Dining Plan. I’ll share a few of my favorite table service restaurants just in case you’re looking for some delicious inspiration.
Tiffins in Animal Kingdom offers a fun fusion of African, Latin and Asian cuisines. The signature bread service is amazing here! Another favorite restaurant of mine is
‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. For dinner, this all-you-care-to-enjoy dining experience is a crowd favorite at Disney World. Right now, you'll find delicious dishes on the menu like grilled teriyaki beef, spicy peel-n-eat shrimp, grilled chicken and the infamous ʻOhana Noodles. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it!
Hector, I hope this information is helpful. If you have additional questions about planning your Disney vacation, please stop by and see us here at planDisney again. Until then, TTFN… ta-ta for now!
