Hiya Russell - welcome to
planDisney!
Split stays are one of my favorite ways to experience a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I love the Theme Parks, of course, but the
Disney Resorts Collection is full of so much to see and do too, and a split stay is a great way to experience more of the magic from multiple Resorts.
Russell, I have some great news for you! The pixie-dusted benefits of being a registered Guest at a Disney Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resort begin on the day you arrive, even if your room isn't ready yet, and are active through the end of the day you check out! So, if
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are offered on the day you check out of your Disney Deluxe or Deluxe Villa, you are welcome to enjoy them!
In order to identify whether a Guest is qualified to experience attractions during these extended hours, your MagicBand, Key to the World Card, or MagicMobile pass will be scanned at the entrance to all attraction queues in the Theme Park. I can speak from experience that I was still eligible on the day I checked out of my Disney Deluxe Villa Resort on a recent vacation.
Since you're likely to have already checked in to your
next stay at a Disney Moderate Resort, there's a slight chance that the system
might show you as not eligible. I don't anticipate that this will happen, but just in case, I suggest taking a screenshot showing your Deluxe Resort plans on that day before you check out. It never hurts to have some extra documentation in case Ralph Breaks the Internet!
I hope this information is helpful, Russell -
