Hello! We have a split stay coming up in October 2020 (Beach Club/Contemporary). Is Bell Services still able to transfer luggage between resorts, or will we need to make our own arrangements due to Covid‐19 safety procedures?

    Hi Susan!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. In my opinion, you have chosen to stay at two of the best Resort Hotel properties. I love when Guests experience split stays. I think it is the best of both worlds and getting to stay at two places in one trip.

The Walt Disney World Resort does make it so easy to transfer between two Disney Resort hotels. On check-out day from your first Resort, pack up your luggage before heading out. It is my understanding that Bell Services will still be able to transfer luggage between resorts; however, you must be present at the new Resort hotel to receive your luggage. Bell Services will hold your luggage until you are available to receive it. Simply call or drop everything off with Bell Services.

While you are there, be sure to check out the Taste of EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival. Many Global Marketplaces are offering tasty signature dishes and beverages. There is even plenty of entertainment, including the JAMMitors and Mariachi Cobre at the America Gardens Theatre.

I want to share one more tip with you. Currently, Disney’s Magical Express is still available to transport you and your family from the Orlando International Airport to the Walt Disney World Resort. However, they will not be transporting luggage from the airport to your resort hotel. Once you arrive at the airport, you will proceed to the baggage claim area to claim your bags. Once you’ve claimed your luggage proceed to the Disney’s Magical Express area. Your luggage will travel with you underneath the Motorcoach. Once you arrive at your Resort hotel, Bell Services will be available to assist you should you need assistance.

I hope that you and your family have a magical time!
