Hello! With a split resort stay, how do you transport luggage from one resort to the next? Thank you!

    Hi Melissa,

We had a split stay on our Walt Disney World Resort vacation this summer and it was SO easy! You do have a few options. You can call Bell Services and let them know you are transferring to another resort. They will ask which resort you are moving to and now many pieces of luggage you will be transferring. When they arrive at your room, they will put tags with your name and the name of your next resort on your bags. They will take your luggage and the next place you will see them is at your next resort. They usually transfer luggage during the middle of the day, so don't expect it to transfer immediately. Once you check in to your next resort, let Bell Services know your luggage had been transferred from another resort and they will bring it to your room.

We didn't have too many bags so instead of waiting for Bell Services in our room, we took everything to the Bell Services desk. The procedure was the same from that point.

If the idea of the resort transferring your luggage makes you nervous, or you need immediate access once at your new resort, you can always take a taxi to your next resort.

I was pleasantly surprised by how easy the transfer process was. I hope you will have the same experience! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
    Wishing you a magical vacation,
