Can we split our 8 person table check into 4 on two separate checks & my husband and I each use our DVC discount to cover the whole table at Coral Reef? I know if we both have TIW you can use both to cover 20 people. Can we do the same with DVC?

    Hi Trinda!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a question for us. We're always happy to help. Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is right around the corner, so I hope you're ready to have lots and lots of FUN. I'm sure you and your family are going to have a blast!

As a Disney Vacation Club Member, you'll get some great discounts on dining along with all of the other nice perks available to Members. And at Coral Reef Restaurant, you can save 10% on your food purchases. If you would like to split the check between two parties and still use your Disney Vacation Club discount, both you and your husband will need to present your photo ID along with your Membership cards. Each of you will also need to pay using your own credit card unless you are planning to use a Disney Gift Card or cash. So in other words, you won't be able to use your Membership card for the discount and then use someone else's credit card to pay. Keep in mind that you'll still be charged the 18% gratuity for parties of six or more, so each check will include that automatic charge.

Hopefully this answers your question but feel free to stop back by if we can help with anything else. We'll be here if you need us. Enjoy your upcoming trip and make lots of magical memories!
