Hello! I have a split DVC stay coming up in June. I’ll be at the Poly 6/2-6/4, then Old Key West 6/4-6/11. Can I bridge my reservations to allow me to make dining reservations for the entire stay on my first 60 mark?

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Nichole!

Welcome Home and welcome to planDisney!  How exciting that you have two exciting Disney Vacation Club Resorts booked to maximize the magic on your upcoming vacation.  Disney's Polynesian Resort and Disney's Old Key West are two of my favorites, as you can enjoy the comforts of a home away from home while immersing yourself in two different themes, both with the feeling of paradise sprinkled with Disney magic.

Nichole, when you book your Disney Vacation Club Resorts through Disney Vacation Club, the system automatically assigns a reservation number for that reservation.  Unfortunately, there is no way to bridge those two reservations, particularly as you will need to check out of one hotel and check into another hotel for your split stay.  Because of that, they are seen as two separate reservations by the system and it won't allow you to make your Advance Dining Reservations for your second stay at the same time you make them for your first stay.

I am sure this isn't what you hoped to hear, Nichole. What I recommend is making notes in your calendar for 60 days out for June 2nd and then again 60 days out from June 4th, so you can make your Advance Dining Reservations for each of those stays.  If there are restaurants that are the wish your heart makes, I would suggest putting these in the second stay when you will have more days to try and get the reservations of your choice. This way, you can maximize the timing so that hopefully you can get the Advance Dining Reservations for the restaurants of your dreams during your magical Disney vacation.

I hope this is helpful, Nichole. If I can help you with any further Disney Vacation Club questions, stop back and see me here and I'll be so happy to help you.

    See ya real soon!
