Can we split up dining on the dining plan? There are 6 + 1 under 2yrs in our party/plan. Can 2 adults use TS at one meal at one restaurant while the other 2 adults, 2 kids, and baby eat at another restaurant for the same meal or different meal?

    Hi Vicki!

You are able to use the Disney Dining Plan as you wish throughout your stay for as many different dining experiences as you choose, based on the allocated credits available in your plan! You can definitely opt to eat in two separate groups.

Your plan is actually a 'pool' of credits, assigned to your reservation (all credits are accessed through any 1 of your party's Key To The World Cards) so more than one person can access the credits simultaneously, at different locations, if you wish.

The credits are assigned per person, per night of resort stay, and expire at midnight on your Check-Out day. Between arrival and check-out, you can use the credits as you wish. Adults in the party must use adult credits at table service restaurants and children 3-9 must use child credits. At Quick Service dining locations, credits are not differentiated by age group, so feel free to split those up and share meals to extend the life of your dining plan if it works better for you!

I'm very experienced with the Disney Dining Plan and have used both the regular and Deluxe plan on more than 6 trips with large travel parties, so please feel free to visit me again if you have additional questions regarding your plan! I'm always happy to assist.

Wishing you a simply Magical time on your Walt Disney World vacation Vicki!
