    Splash pool at AOA open?

    Hello, Eileen!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I recently had the opportunity to tour Disney's Art of Animation Resort, and I was blown away by the attention to detail and theming of this resort. From the family suites to the iconic giant statues from favorite Disney animated movies, this resort is sure to be a hit with your family.

The Pools at Disney's Art of Animation Resort are just as fantastic as the resort rooms. You will find a Finding Nemo themed splash area called Schoolyard Sprayground located near The Big Blue Pool. Little Mouseketeers can play in the pop-up jets and splash around beloved characters from the movie. On the day I visited, many families were enjoying this fun play area, soaking in all the excitement of their favorite characters. Be sure to take a swim in the heated Big Blue Pool to experience the underwater speakers, the first of its kind on Disney property. Since pool hours are subject to change without notice, check your Resort Recreation Activities Guide for exact hours of operation during your visit.

I hope this answers your question, Eileen. Please visit us again with any other questions you may have.

    Have a magical day!
